Hi - I'm New!
New Member here, and so glad to have found this KAL.
I just finished the back of my CPH and hope to start the sleeves tonight, which I'll do two-at-a-time. No use visiting Sleeve Island twice if I don't have to!!
I'm using Cascade 220, in Lapis, and LOVE it, however, so does my daughter and she's already threatening to steal it when it's done!
I'm considering putting in a zipper instead of the button band. Has anyone else done this? I'd love any tips you might have.

I haven't done it yet, but I am planning on it! I read something recently on putting in a zipper at grumperina.com/knitblog so was just going to follow that!
i'm planning on a zipper too - wondering if the ribbed band will pose flaring problems... hope someone else has answers for us:)
I put a zipper in "my"(really my daughter's) CPH. See my blog post here.
If the button band doesn't flare otherwise it shouldn't flare with the zipper - be careful about how many stitches you pick up -- and block the sweater and pre-wash the zipper before sewing it in. This is something worth doing (and re-doing if necessary) right.
I think a zipper is a good choice for this sweater because it's a closure that works in a garment with a slim fit without making gaps, as buttons might.
