Hoodie finished

I finished sewing mine up the other night. There are a couple more photos on my blog, they're not too good, as my husband took them!! I really like the finished hoodie, it's lovely to wear and the colour has come out so nice. In fact, I didn't choose this colour, the lady who owns the ebay shop's husband sent the wrong one by mistake, but I liked it so much, I kept it!!
I used DB aran tweed, needle sizes 4mm for the rib and 5mm for the rest. I knit the 44" size, even though I'm only a 34-6" as I wanted it to fit over other jumpers. There's plenty of room. I decided not to put any buttons/toggles on it, as I liked it open. I did toy with the idea of a zip, but I've really no idea how to put them in, so it's staying like this. I love the long sleeves, they will keep my hands warm in the cold welsh winters.

Lovely color, Christina - and the fit looks comfortable. If I could do it over, the one I knit would be a tad roomier, but then it might not be worn. 13 is not predictable.

If you change your mind about the zipper, I'd be glad to help a bit. But if it were my sweater, I'd probably leave it -- that's how you'll probably wear it anyway.

What a happy accident! I love that red and know you will enjoy it without the zipper. Can't wait to get going again on mine.
