I'm Done!

I loved knitting this so much I'm sad to be finished, the way you're sad when a good book ends. What's the sequel? I don't want to read the same book over ... but I don't want to leave the characters behind!

More pictures and details on my blog. I used Cascade 220, Silver Spruce Heather. (And that's my dog Lucy supervising the photo shoot on a snowy spring day in upstate NY.)

Thanks everyone for your help!

It looks wonderful. I am really liking the look of CPH done in Cascade 220. I am enjoying knitting this, too, and have thoughts of knitting a second one. Someone wrote they were going to knit a collar instead of a hood. That might be the way to go for a second one.

Thanks, Freda.
A collar would be good, since I have already determined I cannot allow anyone ever to see me wearing my hood! :)
I would probably also be up for slightly more challenging cables, now that I know I can do them.
I feel so bereft without this to work on!

What a beautiful first sweater. The fit is wonderful. You choose a gorgeous color and your buttons look great. Yarn shop lady #2 was right!
