Hello, I am new here and can't wait to get started, but I have to wait for a few more projects to be off the needles. What else is new with knitters? Always wanting to cast on for more projects.

This is the yarn I bought at Maryland Wool & Sheep Festival this year:

It is Brooks Farm yarn new superwash wool Solana in a black/grey colourway. Feels very soft, but unsure how it holds up. Guess I am going to find out soon enough eh?
Knit on.

The yarn looks wonderful. I would love to see how it knits up with the color variations. I have been thinking of making a second hoodie that is not a solid color. Don't hesitate to get started. I can't wait to see the progress.

I recently made a baby sweater with the Solano and LOVED working with it. I hope it holds up well, too! :)

I just went to the Brooks farm website, and the Solana yarn is only available at shows. :-( This means that I have to wait until October, when the Wool Festival goes to Upstate New York.
I had really high hopes for my second CPH before that. Now I feel like I will be forced to dye my own superwash yarn. I guess that's not really a bad thing. My main problem is picking a color. Oh, so much to do, and not enough time!
