The armhole knitting continues to the same length as on the back.Fredahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01988823635725904005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341173294790021096.post-8240870230921890262007-06-20T09:26:00.000-07:002007-06-20T09:26:00.000-07:00It's not that your front and back are different le...It's not that your front and back are different lengths. The last line of the neck shaping for the front says, "Work even in pattern until front measures same as back to begining of shoulder shaping." What's going on is that you start the neck shaping for where the hood connects in the front at your collarbone not your shoulder seams. Otherwise when you tried to put the hood up it wouldn't even cover your ears. Does that make sense?Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16939478966215087767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341173294790021096.post-37472264618824064672007-06-19T04:19:00.000-07:002007-06-19T04:19:00.000-07:00That exact thing happened to me - it's fine. I remember thinking 'huh!?' when I came across the measurements, but something to do with the hood makes this OK.

I can't remember how I knew it was OK, but I followed the pattern to the letter and it turned out great!

Elaine xElainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17760583523578644450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341173294790021096.post-732968733240742432007-06-18T11:07:00.000-07:002007-06-18T11:07:00.000-07:00Hopefully someone with more experience will answer...Hopefully someone with more experience will answer but I thought I'd give you my take on it. It probably means that there is just more to the circle of the arm towards the front of the sleeve than the back. Pushing the arm hole slightly towards the front of the sweater than just flat. Its a matter of thinking in that third dimension. Does that make sence? Does any one else have any thoughts on whether this is correct?Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03731379433339738894noreply@blogger.com
