I had luck when I used a strand no more than 10 in. to seam.

I experienced no shrinking whatsoever, and that's consistent with my swatch results.

Freda, I bet yours will turn out lovely and I can't wait to see it done.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12475244662802875964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341173294790021096.post-58471390056820265802007-07-20T18:44:00.000-07:002007-07-20T18:44:00.000-07:00Great job! Did you have any vertical shrinkage with the final CHP after washing?

DId you use the Beaverslide yarn to sew the seams or something else. I've found that my Beaverslide McTaggart's tweed breaks pretty easily and have been thinking I'll use a different yarn to sew my seams.

I've stalled out knitting my CPH. I'm at the bindoff of the sleeves and only have the sleeve caps to knit. THen the button band, seams and I'll be done.

Your CPH looks to fit really nicely. I hope I'm so lucky.

FredaFredahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01988823635725904005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341173294790021096.post-83222680186494885832007-07-15T16:37:00.000-07:002007-07-15T16:37:00.000-07:00It looks great, and like it fits really well.
